The stone was rolled away, not just to let Jesus out, but to invite them in.

That same invitation still stands today.

The empty tomb wasn’t the end of the story—it was the beginning of discovery. The women didn’t understand what they saw at first. It created questions, confusion, even doubt. But they didn’t walk away—they stepped in.

And that’s where everything started to change.

Sometimes we think faith starts with certainty. But often, it starts with curiosity—the willingness to step closer and explore what we don’t yet understand.

Maybe that’s where you are right now. Not convinced. Not fully believing. But not walking away either.

That’s a great place to begin.

Reflection:
•Where am I being invited to “step in” instead of walking away?
•What questions do I have about Jesus that I’ve been avoiding?

Prayer:
Jesus, give me the courage to explore, to step closer, and to seek You honestly—even in my questions. Amen.

Day 2: When Doubt Is the First Response
Scripture: Luke 24:4–6

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!”

The first response to the resurrection wasn’t celebration—it was confusion.

The women didn’t immediately believe. The disciples didn’t either. It sounded impossible because it was—apart from God.

We often assume doubt disqualifies us from faith. But the resurrection story shows the opposite: doubt is often part of the journey toward belief.

The problem isn’t that we believe nothing—it’s that we believe something else more strongly. For them, it was this: dead people stay dead.

For us, it might be:
•“God can’t change me.”
•“My past is too far gone.”
•“This can’t really be true.”

But the resurrection confronts every one of those beliefs.

Reflection:
•What belief might be keeping me from trusting Jesus fully?
•Where am I choosing what feels logical over what God says is possible?

Prayer:
Lord, meet me in my doubt. Help me release what I’ve believed that isn’t true and trust what You say instead. Amen.

Day 3: From Curiosity to Encounter
Scripture: Luke 24:9–12

Peter didn’t start his day believing. He didn’t even plan to go to the tomb.

But someone told him.

And that was enough to spark curiosity.

Curiosity is powerful. It moves us from indifference to investigation. And often, that’s how faith begins.

Peter ran to the tomb not because he believed—but because he wanted to know.

And eventually, curiosity led to encounter.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to move toward Jesus. You just have to be willing to take the next step.

Jesus promises that those who seek will find. Not those who have it all together—but those who keep moving toward Him.

Reflection:
•What is one next step I can take toward Jesus this week?
•Who has influenced my curiosity about faith?

Prayer:
Jesus, stir my curiosity. Help me seek You honestly and take the next step toward knowing You. Amen.

Day 4: From Encounter to Transformation
Scripture: Luke 24:36–39

Everything changed when they encountered Jesus.

Not just heard about Him. Not just discussed Him. But met Him.

The resurrection isn’t just a historical event—it’s a present reality. Jesus is alive, and He still meets people where they are.

And when He does, lives change.
•Confusion becomes clarity
•Fear becomes faith
•Brokenness becomes healing
•Death becomes life

Just like the stories you shared—Lydia, Katie, Jose, Kylee—this isn’t theory. It’s transformation.

The greatest evidence of the resurrection isn’t just an empty tomb—it’s changed lives.

Reflection:
•Where have I experienced Jesus changing me?
•Where do I still need Him to bring life and transformation?

Prayer:
Risen Jesus, meet me where I am. Change what only You can change. Bring life to every part of me. Amen.

Day 5: From Belief to Boldness
Scripture: Luke 24:9

“They returned from the tomb and told all these things…”

The women didn’t wait until they had all the answers.

They just shared what they knew.

That’s how it works. When you encounter Jesus, it’s too good to keep to yourself.

You don’t need a theology degree. You don’t need perfect words. You just need your story.

If you’ve known Jesus for five minutes, that’s five minutes more than someone else.

Your story could be the thing that moves someone else from indifference… to curiosity… to encounter.

Reflection:
•Who is one person I can share my story with this week?
•What has Jesus done in my life that I can’t keep to myself?

Prayer:
Jesus, give me boldness to share what You’ve done in my life. Use my story to help others find You. Amen.

But what follows is not relaxation—it’s action.

Right after the parade, Jesus goes to the temple and begins the work of restoration.

This reminds us that faith isn’t just about emotional highs or powerful moments in worship. It’s about what comes next. Real transformation happens when celebration leads to surrender.

Application:
After your next worship moment—Sunday service, prayer time, or devotional—ask: What is Jesus inviting me to do next?

Prayer:
Jesus, don’t let my faith stop at celebration. Lead me into surrender and obedience.

Day 2: A House of Prayer
Scripture: Matthew 21:13

Reflection:
Jesus declared that the temple was meant to be a “house of prayer,” but it had become something else—a place filled with distraction and self-interest.

The issue wasn’t just activity—it was misalignment.

Our lives are meant to be places where God is encountered. But over time, distractions, habits, and misplaced priorities can crowd Him out.

The question isn’t just: Is anything happening?
It’s: Is the right thing happening?

Application:
Take inventory of your daily rhythms. Is your life creating space to hear from God?

Prayer:
Lord, make my life a place where You are welcomed and heard. Remove anything that crowds You out.

Day 3: Intensity Without Anger
Scripture: Mark 3:5

Reflection:
Jesus was intense—but not out of control. Passionate—but not reckless.

We often confuse intensity with anger. But Jesus shows us something different: Spirit-led confrontation without emotional chaos.

He addressed what was wrong clearly and directly—but with purpose, not impulsiveness.

That’s the kind of maturity God wants to grow in us.

Application:
The next time you feel strong emotion rising, pause and ask:
Am I reacting, or responding like Jesus would?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me respond with clarity and control, not emotion that leads me away from You.

Day 4: Clean Your Own House
Scripture: Matthew 21:12

Reflection:
Jesus didn’t go around flipping tables everywhere—He cleaned His own house.

That’s a powerful challenge.

It’s easy to point out what’s wrong in others—culture, church, family. But Jesus calls us to start closer to home: our own hearts, our own habits, our own environments.

Wholehearted living begins with personal responsibility.

Application:
Do a “spiritual walkthrough” of your life:
•Attitudes
•Habits
•Relationships
•Environment

What needs to be removed, rearranged, or restored?

Prayer:
Jesus, give me the courage to deal with what’s out of place in my life. Maybe God rescued you dramatically, or maybe He’s been quietly faithful over time. Either way, your “why” begins with what God has done.

Forgetting your story leads to drifting. Remembering it fuels devotion.

Application:
Write down your “before and after” with God. Where were you? What has He done?

Prayer:
God, help me never forget what You’ve done in my life. Anchor my faith in Your faithfulness.

Day 2: Formation Is Happening
Scripture: James 4:14
“You are a mist that appears for a little while…”

Reflection:
You are being shaped every day—by what you love, what you watch, what you pursue, and what you ignore.

There is no neutral. You are either being formed intentionally or unintentionally.

Wholehearted people don’t drift into Christlikeness—they decide it. They choose what kind of person they want to become and align their lives accordingly.

Application:
Ask yourself honestly: What is shaping me most right now?
Is it leading you toward Jesus or away from Him?

Prayer:
Lord, shape me into the person You created me to be. Help me live with intention, not accident.

Day 3: Discover Your “Why”
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:23
“He brought us out… to bring us in…”

Reflection:
Your “why” is not just what God saved you from—it’s what He saved you for.
Israel wasn’t just rescued from Egypt—they were brought into promise, purpose, and identity.

The same is true for you. Through Jesus, you’ve been brought out of sin and into relationship, freedom, and mission.

Your “why” is ultimately rooted in Jesus—what He’s done and what He’s inviting you into.

Application:
Write a simple one-minute version of your “why.”
Example: “I follow Jesus because…”

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for bringing me out and bringing me in. Clarify my purpose and deepen my devotion.

Day 4: Live Your “Why”
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:24
“…so that we might always prosper and be kept alive…”

Reflection:
Knowing your “why” isn’t enough—you have to live it.

Obedience isn’t about restriction; it’s about flourishing. God’s commands were given so His people could truly live.

Living your “why” means choosing:
•obedience over convenience
•love over selfishness
•faithfulness over comfort

It means stepping fully into the life God has already called you into.

Application:
Take one intentional step of obedience today—something you’ve been putting off.

Prayer:
God, help me not just know the truth but live it. Give me courage to obey You today.

Day 5: Proclaim Your “Why”
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:20
“When your son asks you…”

Reflection:
Your faith was never meant to stay private.

People are watching your life. They’re asking questions—sometimes out loud, sometimes silently:
“Why are you different?”
“Why do you live this way?”

Wholehearted people are ready to answer.

This doesn’t require a stage or a microphone. It looks like everyday conversations, honest moments, and a life that reflects Jesus so clearly that people can’t ignore it.

Think of Timothy—his faith was shaped because someone shared their “why” with him.

Application:
Pray for one opportunity this week to share your “why.” Then be ready when it comes.

Prayer:
Lord, give me boldness and wisdom to share my story.
