Day 1 — The Heart Comes First
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4–5

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

Before Moses talked about teaching children, routines, or habits, he started with the heart.

Because you cannot give what you do not have.

Wholehearted homes begin with wholehearted people.
Wholehearted parenting begins with wholehearted faith.
Wholehearted influence begins with wholehearted love for God.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about direction. When love for God lives in your heart, it naturally shows up in your words, your priorities, and your daily life.

Reflect
•What currently has the greatest affection in your heart?
•What helps you stay connected to Jesus daily?

Prayer
Lord, grow my love for You. Shape my heart so my life reflects wholehearted devotion.

Day 2 — Everyday Moments Matter
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:6–7

“Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

Faith was never meant to be a once-a-week conversation. Moses describes something much more natural—faith woven into everyday life.

Around the table.
In the car.
At bedtime.
On the way to school or practice.

Spiritual influence doesn’t require a formal lesson. It grows through ordinary conversations and shared moments.

The goal isn’t more religious activity.
The goal is a life where God is part of everyday life.

Reflect
•Where could you naturally bring God into everyday conversations?
•What routine could become a spiritual rhythm?

Prayer
God, help me see everyday moments as opportunities to point others toward You.

Day 3 — Kids See What We Love
Scripture: Matthew 6:21

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Children and the next generation learn less from what we say and more from what we love.

They notice:
•What gets our time
•What gets our attention
•What gets our energy
•What gets our passion

If love for God is real, it will be visible—in prayer, in Scripture, in worship, in obedience, and in how we treat others.

Wholehearted faith is caught before it is taught.

Reflect
•What does your daily life communicate about what matters most?
•If someone watched your week, what would they say you love?

Prayer
Jesus, let my life clearly show that You are my greatest priority.

Day 4 — Guard the Gates
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:8–9

“Bind them… Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”

Moses describes something powerful: make God’s Word the gatekeeper of your life and your home.

Gates determine what comes in and what stays out.

Today, the “gates” include:
•Media and screens
•Friendships and influences
•Conversations and attitudes
•The spiritual atmosphere of your home

Wholehearted living requires intentional protection.

Reflect
•What influences are shaping your heart or your home right now?
•Is there anything you need to limit, remove, or change?

Prayer
Lord, help me guard my heart and my home so that only what honors You shapes us.

Day 5 — You Can Change the Story
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17

“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.”

Not everyone grew up in a wholehearted home. Some learned more about what not to do than what to do.

The good news is this:
In Christ, you can start a new legacy.

You don’t have to repeat the patterns you were given.
You can change the trajectory for the next generation.
You can build a home—and a life—centered on Jesus.

And even if you don’t have children, someone is watching your life. Your influence matters.

Wholehearted homes begin with one person who says yes to Jesus.

Reflect
•What patterns from your past need to end with you?
•Who might God be calling you to influence spiritually?

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for making all things new. Use my life to build a legacy of wholehearted faith.
